The most important Italian nursery gardening fair conferred the award for the best form of selling to the brand ″Pinocchio for a Green Future″ of Giorgio Tesi Group. By virtue of the agreement between Giorgio Tesi Group and Fondazione Collodi for the use, even for commercial purposes, as world exclusive of the original Pinocchio image, the nursery gardening company of Pistoia launched in 2013 ″Pinocchio for a green future″, a commercial line directed to customers, gardens, and companies that this way can purchase plants with the symbol of Collodi’s puppet. Thus, the plants of Giorgio Tesi Group can count on the added value of a universal testimonial such as Pinocchio and the attraction that this character has on children and families.

The interested companies and gardens can purchase the plants from Giorgio Tesi Group with the Pinocchio label, they can customise the label with their logo on the back, have trolleys and display units dedicated to the Pinocchio for green line and realise areas in their structures with banners and signs with the image of Collodi’s puppet reserved to children and families.

Pinocchio embraces the ″The future is green″ philosophy of Giorgio Tesi Group of Pistoia, the only company at European level to have the EMAS certificate, to launch a fascinating and universal message to children and families for the reduction of CO2 emissions promoting ″green″ choices. ″It is an award that honours and gratifies us – said Marco Cappellini, general manager of Giorgio Tesi Group – The plants of Pinocchio have had great success in many European countries for the appeal that this universal symbol has on all generations. The initiative also has a social aim. In fact, a percentage of the sales contracts of the ″Pinocchio for a green future″ brand plants will support Dynamo Camp, the rehabilitation therapy camp, free of charge for children and youngsters from 7 to 17 years of age, which suffer from serious and chronic pathologies, under therapy and during the post-hospitalisation period″.
